Julia Vignali
Julia Vignali, born on July 13, 1975, in Paris to Italian parents from Parma, is a French actress and television presenter known for her versatility across broadcasting and entertainment. She began her career after studying commerce at Grenoble School of Management, briefly working in marketing at Polydor Records under Universal Music before transitioning to television.
Her on-screen journey took off in 2010 when she presented weather segments on Canal+'s morning show *La Matinale*. She later hosted *Les Maternelles* on France 5 from 2012 to 2015, before joining the talk show *C à vous* as a guest columnist. In 2016, she lent her voice to Europe 1's radio program *La Cour des grands* and began co-hosting TF1's Saturday morning show *#WEEKEND* alongside Laurent Mariotte.
A significant career milestone came in October 2017 when she took over from Faustine Bollaert as host of M6's popular baking competition *Le Meilleur Pâtissier*, working with judges Cyril Lignac and Mercotte. She also presented the dating show *Mon admirateur secret* and co-hosted the retrospective special *Ils ont fait 2018* with Ophélie Meunier. After leaving M6 in 2021 to explore film projects, she joined France 2 in August 2021, co-hosting the morning program *Télématin* with Thomas Sotto.
Julia is a mother to two sons and has been in a relationship with actor Kad Merad since 2016.
