Joseph Dorgan

Joseph Dorgan, known to wrestling fans as Johnny Swinger or Johnny Parisi, carved out a notable career across several major promotions. He gained recognition in World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling before signing a developmental deal with WWE in 2005. Training at Ohio Valley Wrestling, he debuted on *Sunday Night Heat* as Johnny Parisi, a name honoring his great uncle, wrestling legend Tony Parisi. His WWE run included stints in Deep South Wrestling and a few *Heat* matches, including competitive losses to Chavo Guerrero and Kane, before his release in June 2006.

Returning to the independent circuit, Dorgan found significant success in Great Championship Wrestling (GCW). He captured the GCW Heavyweight Championship twice and the GCW Tag Team Titles twice—once with Glenn Gilberti and once with Bull Buchanan. His feuds, including a notable alliance-turned-rivalry with Raven, highlighted his versatility as both a heel and a fan favorite. In 2011, he became a popular babyface in Peachstate Wrestling Alliance, battling wrestlers like Bill the Butcher. Beyond the ring, Dorgan trained aspiring wrestlers at Hard Knocks Gym in Kennesaw, Georgia, alongside Rick Steiner. In 2017, he briefly co-hosted "The Raven Effect" podcast with Raven before being replaced due to low ratings.

Offstage, Dorgan is the nephew of the late Tony Parisi and lives with his wife, Susan, and their two children.
