Juliana Silveira

Juliana Silveira is a Brazilian actress and singer who first captured the public's attention in the early 1990s. Her journey in entertainment began in 1993 when she worked as a stage assistant to beloved host Angélica. Over the next several years, she lent her energy to a string of popular programs, including *Casa da Angélica*, *TV Animal*, and *Passa ou Repassa* on SBT, before moving with Angélica to Rede Globo for *Angel Mix*—a role she held until 1998.

Her big breakthrough arrived in 2002, when she starred as the lead character Júlia in the ninth season of the iconic teen series *Malhação*. The role made her a household name. Then, from 2005 to 2006, she took on the title role in the telenovela *Floribella* on Band, a project that also launched her singing career, as she performed the show's soundtrack.

Born and raised in the coastal city of Santos, São Paulo, Juliana comes from a family of Portuguese and Italian descent. She is the daughter of Giselda Bragança Saúda Silveira and Joaquim Silveira Filho, and has an older brother, Joaquim Silveira Neto.
