1 title Acting

Anna Ross is a singer-songwriter whose career in the music industry spans many years. Her first record deal came when the head of Chrysalis Records signed her band, The V Corporation. Once the group disbanded, Ross relocated from Newcastle to London, and since then she has collaborated with a wide range of famous artists, among them Tina Turner, Sting, Mark Ronson, Janelle Monae, Nile Rodgers, Tom Jones, Stereophonics, and Jamiroquai—most notably Duran Duran, with whom she has completed four world tours. Highlights of her career include performances at Coachella, Live Aid, and the Olympic opening ceremony, as well as singing one of her own compositions on Croatian television on Christmas Day 2017. Alongside touring, she earned degrees in Literature and Psychology, and combining these experiences to focus on her own music has been a natural progression. Her debut album featured three collaborations with Simon Le Bon; Nick Rhodes directed a video for it, and John Taylor remixed one of its tracks. Her second album finds her exploring jazz influences more deeply, working with her longtime friend, Grammy-winning writer Phil Ramocon, and with French artists Foehn Trio and Jeremy Hababou, whom she first encountered at the Chamonix Jazz Festival.
