The Desert Child (2026)

Sun, a fourteen-year-old, has authored a tale inspired by her late grandfather’s remarkable recollections—a story about Hadara, a wild child lost in a storm, rescued by a band of ostriches, and raised in the desert with a desert fox as his closest companion. When a Sahara community invites her after reading her book, she encounters Kharouba, a Nomad girl her age, and begins to suspect Hadara might be more than just a figment of her imagination.
