A young woman walks her path when a Japanese river otter scrambles to her side. They attempt to bridge the gap between their worlds, but every effort at connection falls flat. Meanwhile, the debris of human existence—litter, scraps, and refuse—showers down around them, a relentless cascade of civilization's leftovers.
