Tramway (1966)

The night air hit him as he slipped away from the party's noise, stepping onto the nearly empty tram. His gaze drifted across the car and settled on a girl, her presence quietly catching his attention. He kept watching, too timid to look away or approach, until her eyelids grew heavy and she drifted into sleep, leaving him alone with the hum of the rails and his unspoken thoughts.
