The Legend of Mount Agrı (1975)

A shepherd named Ahmet falls for Gülbahar, the daughter of a powerful lord. One morning, a horse mysteriously appears outside Ahmet’s home. He confides in his mentor, Sofi Dede, who says the horse is a divine gift. It later emerges that the horse belongs to Mahmut Han, but local custom forbids Ahmet from returning it. The people of Ağrı support his decision. In the midst of this tension, a romance quietly blooms between Ahmet and Mahmut Han’s daughter, Gülbahar.
