Meanwhile, a retired firefighter from Arizona vacationing in Belize begins to notice purple bumps appearing on his arms and legs, accompanied by fatigue and painful hands, symptoms of cutaneous leishmaniasis. In Nebraska, a 14-year-old girl suffers from swollen lymph nodes in her neck, along with dizziness, extreme fatigue, blackouts, and body aches caused by Tularemia.
