Tsunami: The Aftermath (2006)

The 2006 two-part miniseries *Tsunami: The Aftermath* chronicles the devastating impact of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and the tsunami that followed in Thailand. A co-production between HBO and the BBC, it features performances from Tim Roth, Toni Collette, Sophie Okonedo, Samrit Machielsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Savannah Loney. Filmed on location in Phuket and Khao Lak from April to June 2006, the series revisits the very regions that suffered some of the worst destruction on December 26, 2004.
