Dr. Shaun Murphy is set to perform his inaugural surgery under the supervision of Dr. Audrey Lim, but doubts arise when Dr. Marcus Andrews wonders if Shaun is truly prepared. At the same time, Dr. Claire Brown grapples with unresolved feelings regarding her mother, while she and Dr. Morgan Reznick treat a patient whose account of his condition raises suspicions about its authenticity.
