Percy returns from hyperspace only to find that 15 years have slipped away, and Caravaggio's graphic files are now modernized. Faced with uncertainty about The Tulip's future, she hesitantly allies with bounty hunters Travis, Rudolpho, Callie, and Marcus. Meanwhile, Zavras, a Raider and ex-clansman of Travis, manipulates Dr. Daniel Rochaz to draw Travis out of his secluded life.
