Richard wanders through the vibrant souks of Djerba, a Tunisian island steeped in legend, where he tests his skills in Amazigh pottery, time-honored Jewish artistry, and an ancient fishing technique passed down through generations. Drawn by tales of the lotus eaters, he hunts for the fabled fruit said to erase all longing for home from Odysseus’s men.
