While searching the Debris Belt for water, the Archangel crew is stunned to discover the wreckage of Junius Seven. They decide to hold a memorial service for the fallen. During their efforts to extract ice from the ruins, a ZAFT mobile suit launches an assault, but Kira quickly defeats it. Shortly after, Kira spots a drifting lifepod and brings it on board.
