Team Chosen barely makes it out of Adura, only to find themselves stranded in The Deep with no clear way forward. Meanwhile, back in Elu, Kanfo argues with the Elu Mesi council over how much to invest in the coming POTD invasion, their tensions rising as resources dwindle. Unseen by the council, Omolola quietly sets her own plans in motion.
