S27E12 Third Act

Robert A. Nakamura is widely hailed as the godfather of Asian American cinema, but to Tadashi Nakamura, he’s just Dad. In *Third Act*, Tadashi turns the lens on his father, capturing their journey through art, activism, and the realities of growing older. From the scars of WWII incarceration to a cultural awakening and a Parkinson’s diagnosis, the film offers a gentle, intimate look at legacy, inherited pain, and the closing chapter of a life lived in creative partnership.
