Mona, an independent record label executive, is excited to finally occupy the luxurious penthouse her father has long promised her. However, her dreams of a fresh start are shattered when she discovers that her entitled half-sister, Dee Dee, and Dee Dee's domineering mother also consider the apartment theirs. Tensions escalate between the sisters when Dee Dee unwittingly catches the eye of a man Mona has been secretly interested in, complicating their already fragile relationship even further.
