At the fire station, the tension between paramedics and firefighters is thick enough to choke on. They bicker over equipment, mock each other's calls, and trade insults like gear. But when a police cruiser rolls by, both sides fall quiet. Someone mutters something about cops, and suddenly the room nods in agreement. For all their differences, they share one common bond: a deep, mutual disdain for the police.
