Set against the stunning backdrop of Telluride, the chefs kick off the finals with an exciting reunion on Main Street, welcoming the winner from Last Chance Kitchen. The new five-member team faces judges Padma, Tom, and Chef Wylie Dufresne. For the Quickfire challenge, they must create a dish featuring the unique medicinal drink, sarsaparilla. The competition heats up at Alpino Vino, the highest fine dining restaurant in North America, where they must incorporate a baking element into their dishes. Michelin-starred Chef Paul Liebrandt, renowned for his experience cooking in high-altitude settings like the Swiss Alps, adds to the challenge.
