A piece of gum Josie discarded becomes the blueprint for an exact double, spawned from the black hole’s raw power. Just as this new Josie 2 emerges, Kelly Trent, Josie’s estranged mother, shows up out of nowhere. Now Josie is left wrestling with her deepest insecurity: is her mom’s sudden presence genuine love, or just another convenient appearance?
