After closing time, the owners of a city bar are tragically shot, leaving one man injured in the incident, reportedly carried out by a masked assailant. In a parallel storyline, Calleigh's father reveals that he has become a public defender and seeks her assistance with a murder case involving a woman accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend in his vehicle using a screwdriver.
