The Marios embark on a quest to enlist the aid of the famed hero Hercufleas, only to discover that he is in dire need of assistance himself. King Koopa has stolen the "Great Balls of Fire," and Hercufleas is unable to reclaim them on his own. Now, it's up to the Marios to join forces with the legendary figure to retrieve these powerful artifacts and restore balance to their world.
