With Wen Ning’s help, Wei Wuxian manages to rescue Jiang Cheng. To avoid detection, Wen Ning leads them to Yilin, a place already under their control. While staying there, Wei Wuxian discovers the worst has happened to Jiang Cheng. Determined to pull his despondent brother back from the brink, Wei Wuxian searches desperately for a solution. Eventually, he finds a way to set Jiang Cheng back on the right path.
