In the depths of winter, Port Protection's hunting season has shut down, leaving only trapping open—so Gary Muehlberger heads out to set his traps. Sam Carlson, looking to make his meat supply last, fixes up his smoker and blends pork with venison to create sausage. Curly Leach brings his boat, Little Pelican, alongside the dock for overdue repairs, while Dave Squibb cuts back trees to boost the efficiency of his solar panels.
