When Huo Linglong finds Zhan Rifei wounded by the Great Compassionate Palm of the Shangqing Sect—a technique used solely to punish the wicked—she jumps to the wrong conclusion. Believing he must have done something unforgivable, she feels betrayed and furious. Without giving him a chance to explain, she storms off in anger, leaving Zhan Rifei behind in pain and confusion.
