Dear Brother (1991)

S01E17 Postscript

Nanako’s heart skips a beat every time Rei so much as glances her way—she finally admits to herself that what she feels is love. The realization leaves her flustered, her thoughts tangling the moment she considers confessing. Every time she opens her mouth to speak, the words vanish, replaced by a nervous stammer. She watches Rei from across the room, wishing she had the courage to bridge the distance between them.
